The Lie Detector is a device that only appeared in "The Ed-Touchables." It was made by Edd to determine if Jonny and Plank were lying. Its performance was slow and may not have adequately assessed the situation, but it managed to reveal that Plank was lying about the missing items. Sensor wires were placed on the vital parts of the subjects face, such as the head, cheek, and tongue. The wires were connected to a toaster. When bread was deposited into the toaster, it would power up. After the subject gave a reply, the wires connected to the toaster would somehow transfer their information to the toast. Edd interpenetrated the meaning of the toast and then pegged out his answer on the board.
