Ed, Edd n Eddy

A Spoonful of Ed is an Ed, Edd n Eddy comic. In it, Edd invents a device to help minimize a person's sugar intake. It was published by DC Comics in Cartoon Network Block Party Issue #11, and later re-issued in Cartoon Network All-Stars Omnibus.

Edd is checking Ed's teeth, and Eddy asks Ed when the last time he brushed them was. Edd explains that Ed's lack of hygiene will lead to a plethora of cavities and decay. After this, he turns the water hose on full power to Ed's mouth for him to rinse. As Ed's mouth is filled up with water, Eddy questions the idea of brushing people's teeth, saying there's no money in it. Edd then lets Ed rinse and spit into the bucket he's got, but because Ed's mouth is filled with water, he spits out to Eddy with a large amount of water from his mouth, throwing Eddy out.

Edd then builds an anti-sugar machine that's programmed to sensor sugar, thus detecting and preventing the person from eat sweets by kicking them with a boot on their back. He puts the machine on Eddy to wear. To demonstrate, Eddy is offered a piece of cake, but the boot kicks him from even taking a bite. Edd is pleased the device works, thus not allowing further cavity prevention. Eddy then begs to get the machine off him, only for Edd is discover the childproof safety belt is jammed. Eddy then decides to go to his house to get his dad's belt sander to break the machine off.

Suddenly across the street down at Kevin's house, they discover Kevin is giving away free jawbreakers to everyone, and mentions getting rid of the stock from last year. He allows the Eds to take as many as they want. Unfortunately for Eddy, he's still attached to the sugar machine and is kicked yet again, with no luck getting a single jawbreaker. He immediately begs Edd to get the machine off. Whilst Ed is enjoying the slurping away, Eddy eventually breaks free from the machine, using Edd's teeth to snap off the belt. However after searching around for any remaining jawbreakers, Ed looking all stuffed has eaten the rest, with a furious Eddy going after him with a lamppost while Edd tries to intervene.
